Driving through Italy

Because I have a zillion pictures of Verona, I’m making a separate blog for these.  These are a few pictures I took on the way to and from Verona.  The first 2 and last one were taken with my 18-55mm lens and the others were taken with my 75-300mm lens with a polarizing filter.  (PS: Do you have any idea how difficult it is to take a picture of a little church a long ways away with a lens zoomed all the way in while riding in a car going 110mph down the highway?  Not easy, that’s for sure!)

Abbie’s a big fan of sunglasses now.  She’ll actually leave them on for a while, unlike anything else you try to put on her head…

For anyone else into beginning photography, I would HIGHLY recommend getting a polarizing filter for your camera.  They’re cheap ($20ish) and super easy to use and make TONS of difference in the pictures you take.  I got mine from Best Buy.
